Therapy built on relationship, not on being fixed.

Jennifer Wang-Hall, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist who works with adults living with eating disorders, trauma, and the pressures that gather around food, body, and identity.

Her practice grew out of a conviction that recovery is not a matter of compliance. People change inside relationships that feel safe enough to be honest in — where nothing has to be earned and nothing has to be hidden first.

She works in a weight-inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed way, with particular attention to the harm that treatment itself can cause, and to clinicians who carry their own eating disorder history while caring for others.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Wang-Hall provides consultation to treatment teams and speaks and trains on eating disorder recovery, clinician well-being, and perinatal mental health.

How she works

Relational

The relationship is the treatment. Sessions are collaborative, direct when directness helps, and honest about what is happening between you both.

Weight-inclusive

Care is centered on your relationship with food, body, and safety — not on a number, a plan you must perform, or a body you are told to become.

Paced by you

Trauma work moves at the speed of trust. Nothing is opened before you are ready, and consent is part of every step of the process.
